I have been coming to the library to study for a board exam. I thought the library would be a nice quiet place to get things done with limited distractions but this library doesn't seem to care about this. Just today there have been 3 people walking through the library speaking loudly on their phones and was never asked by workers to speak softly or take the phone call outside. Phones are not placed on silent and when they do go off no one asks them to put it on vibrate. I also realize the workers sitting at the desk are there to help people find things and what not but they don't need to speak so the entire library can hear them. They need to implement and enforce some kind of noise policy here. So distracting here and will be looking for a new place to study.

I love this library but I really need them to open earlier on Sunday. I work 12 to 5pm and I need to do my homework that morning before going to work. Sunday is my study day.

I love the great quality internet speed and great new books

A great library and home to the Indiana Room, an outstanding resource for not only local history but the history of several surrounding counties and the state. The room is a genealogical dream, and the staff knowledgeable about many things. They are also always ready to help you in your research.

I do think rather than have library employees greet patrons as they come in (and say "have a nice day" as they leave) -- that library management should put paper towels in the public bathrooms. Those hand dryers are TERRIBLY noisy (and I believe cause damage to peoples' hearing), and is one reason why some people don't even wash their hands. I'm sure staff has paper towels in their bathrooms. I think they should put them in the public bathrooms also.
